How I can file a civil lawsuit against former employer, when the agent is no longer registered with the company?
I have to file a civil suit against my former employer, because he refuses to give me my last commission check. I sent him emails, fax, and now a certified letter with acknowledgment of receipt of the firm. When I went to the office 3 days ago and asked for the money, he said never give it to me. When I asked why, he said 'because I do not like you. "So they have few resources, but to sue now. Unfortunetly, the registered agent of the company is no longer employed there. If demand not directed against the right / appropriate in the list, then demand may get discarded. I need to know what to do, and that the office of Secretary of State has the company as an asset but not in compliance. May remain so for another 5-6 months. My old boss appears as the CEO / CFO / Secretary in the Constitutive Act. main question, to whom I listed in the suit and what person I sent it to? State of Georgia.
I suggest you contact the Registrar's office State and find out what to do. In California, if a registered agent can not be found, the documents can be delivered to the Secretary of State's Office, and will transmitted as soon as a new registered agent name.
