Need advice on SEO for webmasters?

I just built and uploaded my first website and I'm trying to get traffic to go there. I am a new company, starting on the web. I have tried to find tutorials and tools free online, but the amount of information about SEO and SEM is overwhelming. Is there a zero line investment jobs out there?

I'm looking for a job online that do not have to make an investment that do. I've been unemployed for three months, and have a cash flow is limited to say the least. i need a program to manage inscriptions… im hosting an event and im going to be using a laptop to retrieve information from everyone who assists. Best way to make an email database?

I would like to create a database including email, telephone, address, name etc from a fields on a web page when the user clicks submit. Just wondering whats the best and easiest way to do it. Money is not an issue if I have to buy the software to do it. I think someone mention using sql and php???
I can code (x)html/css. learning curve may be a bit steep but i’ll just have to get my head around it.

Is it OK to email those who send us Spam?

Even with two firewalls, two antivirus programs, AWC I still get spam. So I started replying to them advertising my e-commerce businesses and then putting their address in a special folder called “Spammed.” Considering they emailed me first and I replied am I braking any laws or is what I am doing spamming?
Interesting enough two people have ask me to remove their address from my list. Is that not funny?
I now include them in all my email campaigns and have sold product to one of them. So is this type of marketing OK?

I think it’s not illegal as long as you add an option link in your email (even in very tiny letters) so that the person can remove himself from your emailing list, and you should do so if he asks.
Similarly, most advertisers have that link in their emails. So if you want to get rid of their emails, look for that option in their message and click on it.

I do not know about any software, but it is very easy to do it yourself. In your email program, make a group list of everyone that you want to send to. You will have to put everyone’s email address in there, the first time. Then when you want to send emails to them, all you have to do, is click the group addresses, and put in on the BCC line of the email that you want to send. When you use the BCC line, then no one else will see who you sent the email too, only they will know it is from you. When they receive the email, there will be no names on the list, when you use BCC (blind carbon copy)
only the senders name.send an email to yourself, then you can see what it will look like, put your email address in the BCC line….good luck..
