Buying websites off ebay for affiliate marketing?
Is this a good idea or is it better to build your own? Has anyone ever had an sucess with this?
Short answer is no. Buying a website on eBay is a terrible idea, basically because the seller may have sold that website countless times before. Therefore there may be numerous copies of it on the Internet, so it becomes hard to promote through Google AdWords and generic listings due to duplicate content.
However, I doubt you’re a web designer or have experience in web design, so a website off eBay could be the perfect building block.
Just so you know, there are countless profitable methods in existence to promote affiliate products without the need for a website.
